with a 6-month internship, making a total duration of 3.5 years. The programme trains
students to perform diagnostic laboratory tests and procedures that are essential for
disease detection, diagnosis and patient management.
BMLT graduates play a critical behind-the-scenes role in the healthcare system — operating
sophisticated laboratory equipment, analysing blood, urine and tissue samples, and
providing accurate data that doctors rely on to make clinical decisions.
