The Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology is a 3-year undergraduate degree programme
with a 6-month internship, making a total duration of 3.5 years. The programme trains
students to perform diagnostic laboratory tests and procedures that are essential for
disease detection, diagnosis and patient management.
BMLT graduates play a critical behind-the-scenes role in the healthcare system — operating
sophisticated laboratory equipment, analysing blood, urine and tissue samples, and
providing accurate data that doctors rely on to make clinical decisions.
At Divine College of Medical Sciences, BMLT students receive training in well-equipped
laboratories and gain practical exposure at affiliated hospitals in Haridwar — preparing
them for roles in government hospitals, private laboratories, forensic labs and research
institutions across India and abroad.
